Abstract
This paper proposes an investigation of the magnetoelectric (ME) effect of multiferroic artificial ME composite combining a piezoelectric matrix medium incrusted of magnetostrictive particles. The modeling has been performed on a 0-3 type multiferroic artificial ME composite in using a multiphysics code based on the finite element method. The simulation results show the variability of the magnetoelectric coefficient when the random dissemination of the magnetostrictive particles is applied.
